Dead Terminal (Prototype Demo)
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Created in 2 Weeks for The DreadXP End of Summer Bone Jam (2023) and Won 1st Place.
Out there is a remote snowy town, a time capsule of old technology from the late 20th century.
Once the boon of technical advances and cybernetics began to upgrade cities and local areas, the town soon began to form a cancer of the new tech that slowly consumed it.
In its isolation, this seemingly peaceful place allowed for inventions of a more than ominous nature.
And without warning, one day the entire population died.
With the exact cause unknown, you decide to investigate this town, for in its silence you have heard the beckoning whispers of a new presence.
You do research about what happened here, speak with the new inhabitants, and hunt down any signs of supernatural activity.
Dead Terminal is a ghost-hunting survival horror game set in a cyberpunk-theme alternate history. In the demo, you play an investigator exploring a possible haunted apartment building.
NOTE: This is a Prototype Demo to experiment on. Depending on feedback and attention we will determine if the game is worth expanding on.

i havent played this yet. can someone tell me if its worth downloading??
Really interesting game. Feels like mix of Cyberpank and Observer
I got stuck and took a peek at evapilot's video posted here.
I completely spaced on the initial robot being called James and didn't think any of the red dialogue options would lead to anything if tried again.
The Gun and Audio recording mechanics were intuitive.
Was there a way to close the evidence box without clicking on the X in the top-right? It was getting a little annoying to constantly go back up to it. I constantly right clicked instinctively hoping that'd minimize it.
No, clicking the X is how you close the dialog and inventory system.
Really cool concept. Looking forward for this one.
well done man!
Not bad
